The basis of each brush is a brush core or a core construction, a very important part of the brush. The technical possibilities of the brush and brush quality are partly determined by this. KOTI strives to find the right core design for each brush, so that the customer achieves the best result against minimal costs. There are a number of standard constructions, as pictured here below.
Tufted roller brushesA tufted roller brush consists mostly out of a synthetic core which can be delivered loose or mounted to a (steel) shaft (tube). Dependent on the weight and length, there are several choices. A short roller brush can be manufactured with a continuous core, but a long roller brush is most likely manufactured with a core with shafts due to the greater chance of bending.
Spiral brushesSpiral brushes are mostly mounted on a (steel) shaft (tube). The core construction is dependent on the dimensions of the roller brush and the length on the number of shafts sticking out. Dependent on the rotational speed it may be necessary to balance the spiral brush.
