Brush strips

The brush strip exists out of a metal band in which a core thread is placed. Between the band and the thread the fibers are implemented. Through pressing them together, a brush strip is developed with a variable profile channel. For an easy assembly the brush can be glided in to a holder or support. Brush strips are suitable for instance sealing, guiding and pressing.
KOTI brush strips are very versatile and available in many versions. For example there is a straight brush strip and a twisted brush strip. The twisted strip can be adjusted to any shape needed. The profile and material are dependent on the application. The filling, fiber thickness and lengths are deliverable in any way desired. The strips are made with a single band or double band.

The fibers of the single banded strip are clasped in to a metal U-profile through a core thread. This guarantees an optimal brush density due to the continuous and maximum filling without any intervals or holes. This is very important when protecting objects from light, draft or dust. |

The construction of the double banded spiral brush exists out of two metal bands of which the outer band clasps the inner band. The outer band has openings with a fixed size. Because of this, the density of the filling is well measured. The construction is suitable for all fiber materials of which the clasping is guaranteed. The advantage of this brush is that if damage occurs on a bundle, only the bundle itself is damaged, while other bundles stay clasped. |

Weather strips are single banded brush strips which are used mainly for sealing windows, doors, machines and furniture in order to protect them from light, dust and dirt. These strips are able to follow any even or uneven objects. The fibers can move freely and adapt to any unevenness in floors or walls. Weather strips are standard and available in many different versions, but custom-made weather strips are also possible. |
